What's wrong with my Dog's wrist?

I have a 10 year old German Shepherd that has started limping on her right front paw and her wrist seems to have developed bumps on her joints. It doesn't hurt her when you touch or massage them, but she is still limping. Should I get an Xray on it, or a brace, or? Can anyone give me any ideas on how to help or what's wrong?
