Velocity (homebuilt, experimental) vs Piper or Cessna (used, FAA certified)?

What's your opinions? The cost of a kit is about $55,000, not counting materials, avaionics, interior, ec. And the cost of a decent used Piper or Cessna is around te same. So what do you all think is better?
