How to convert FAA A&P to DGCA AME?

There is no conversion exams to convert licenses for AMEs. you can work as an foreign AME here with prior approval of DGCA. If you wish to obtain DGCA license then you have to go through the exams from paper-1 (rules and regulations), paper-2 (General engineering) and after completing paper-3 you will be given BAMEC (Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Certificate) and once you are experienced you will be allowed to write paper-4 and by completing tat you will become an AME.
