Im suppose to get my braces off. Does it hurt?

Ok, Im getting my braces off today. And Id like to know how much it hurts. Or does it not hurt at all?? I had one friend, she said it HURT. Another friend said it barely hurts. so im really confused. yes or no??? THANKS IF YOU ANSWER (:
