How to make out with braces?

I got braces a few days ago, and my boyfriend and i are going to our second date to a movie with my friend and his friend, and my friend has had a crush on him since like forever so yeahh! So I really want to make out with him during the movie but we have never kissed before!! Also how long can you make out with a dude until its weird! Idk this is my first time making out and im kinda nervious! Me and this kid have only been dating for one week and we went to the movies a few days ago!
