Isn't amazing how the American government refused to take responsibility for failing to prevent 9/11?

All you had was a deflection effect. The Bush administration said they didn't have the information that was needed. The CIA and FBI had a system called a TIPPOFF list with 60,000 names of people who weren't supposed to be able to fly that the some of the leaders of the FAA had no idea it even existed before the 9/11 commission brought it up to them. The failure to communicate between our trillion dollar defense bureaucracy was the main reason why 9-11 was not prevented. For example, the CIA would get memos about domestic terrorist threats but did not think they applied because it was a domestic issue rather than an international issue. The FBI didn't know how to deal with domestic terrorism because they were used to dealing with solving criminal cases after the crimes have been committed not before hand. The only person that took the blame was Richard Clarke head of the counter terrorist unit saying "I have failed you, and so did your government"...Everyone else just tried to blame every other department for this colossal failure. Why do you think the government would just try and blame every other department rather than just telling us the truth that the system that we have paid into our whole life failed us?
